Employers never pay to advertise. The revenue comes from what happens after the applications arrive - because every application on this board is promoted, screened and delivered by THE, the introduction is ours to monetise. Four streams, all success-based or service-based:

Stream 1 · Permanent hires

Placement fee on start

When a candidate THE sourced and screened is hired into a permanent role, the employer pays a placement fee on the start date - 20% of first-year base salary (standard, reducing to 15% for multi-hire accounts). The posting stays free; the fee is only due on success.

Stream 2 · Fractional & contract

Monthly management margin

For fractional and contract roles, THE manages the engagement: we take a 15–20% margin on the monthly rate for the duration of the placement. Employers keep one invoice and one accountable partner; the margin scales with time, not promises.

Stream 3 · Hiring subscriptions

Retained hiring plans

Companies hiring continuously move to a monthly plan: from €2,500/month covering unlimited promoted roles, priority promotion, quarterly market and salary benchmarking, and reduced placement rates (15%). Predictable revenue for THE, predictable cost for them.

Screening & advisory add-ons

Optional, quoted per need: technical pre-screening packs, psychometrics, reference verification, salary benchmarking reports, and EOR/payroll setup for cross-border hires. These monetise the application flow beyond the placement itself.

Every application on the board builds THE's candidate base. A candidate who applies to one promoted role joins a network we can introduce to every other employer on the board. The free job postings are the top of a funnel: employers get free advertising and qualified shortlists; THE converts the flow into placement fees, monthly margins, subscriptions - and a proprietary candidate pool that makes every future search faster and cheaper. Employers fund the ecosystem only when it works; candidates never pay anything, ever.
